Haiti Relief Efforts
On Tuesday, January 12, 2010, a catastrophic earthquake struck near Port-au-Prince, Haiti. This was the worst earthquake to hit the area in more than 200 years. As many as 3 million people were directly affected, including tens of thousands of American citizens who are in Haiti.
The infra-structure in the Haitian capital was overwhelmed by the destruction. The scope of human suffering is incomprehensible.

Christian Alliance for Humanitarian Aid, Inc. and our network of partners responded to the immediate needs of the people by providing Mobile Medical Clinics. These clinics are 40' high cube shipping containers which have been retrofitted with two medical exam tables and one dental station. They are insulated and plumbed for water and electrical, with an air conditioning unit and generator for power. Able to operate on their own, these clinics arrive on site ready for immediate use.
We have clinics ready to be loaded with medical supplies and shipped. Clinics that were used in the Hurricane Katrina relief efforts were refurbished and sent to Haiti.
